Aim

  • To be able to access your University email account and inbox from a University or personal computer.

Prerequisites

To proceed with this guide, you are advised to have the following ready:

  • Your University email address and password
  • A computer which you wish to access your email from.

There are a number of ways you can access your University emails. Here are the most common ways to access your emails on different devices and systems.


Instructional guide

On a University PC

  1. Sign in to the computer you are using by following these steps.
  2. Click the Start button.
  3. Select the “Outlook” tile as shown (or search for it if it isn’t visible).

On a Personal PC or Mac using the web

  1. Visit https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps/
  2. Sign in using your University email address and password.
  3. Click on the Outlook App in the left sidebar.

On a Personal PC or Mac using the desktop application

  1. Visit https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps/
  2. Sign in using your University email address and password.
  3. Click on the “Install and more” button, then select “Install Microsoft 365 Apps“.


  4. Click on “Install Office” and follow the steps to install Microsoft 365 applications (including Outlook) on your computer.
  5. You can then access your emails via the Outlook desktop application by signing in with your University email and password.
